Jemisons Beach on the southern side of Potato Point is a dog friendly beach allows dogs to run off leash all day long. The sweeping bay offers gorgeous views of the ocean and is a great stretch of sand for you and your dog to play fetch.

The northern part of the point, Potato Point Beach, is timeshare off leash up to the National Park boundary at Potato Point Creek.

Off lead hours at Potato Point Beach are:

• From 1 May to 31 October, dogs are allowed on the beach anytime.
• From 1 November to 30 April, dogs are allowed on the beach after 5pm and before 9am.
• From 1 November to 30 April, dogs are not allowed on the beach between 9am at 5pm.
